Restored ancient theatre of Tlos is getting ready to welcome visitors
Restoration of the Lycian theatre in Tlos, Seydikemer, is complete, and the site will get solar-powered night lighting.
The theatre of the ancient city of Tlos, a Lycian site in the Seydikemer district near Fethiye, is preparing to open to visitors now that its restoration has been completed.
The works were carried out by the Investment Monitoring and Coordination Directorate of the Muğla Governorship. The theatre will also have eco-friendly night lighting powered by a solar energy system, so the ancient building can be seen after dark.
Tlos is often combined with a visit to Saklıkent Gorge on a day trip from Fethiye.
